These works constitute a different direction of my artistic exploration.  A more casual approach to the topic means that when I juxtapose walls of painted papers, I am surprised by a random arrangement that begins to suggest new compositional ideas. This method of work is very useful as a refresher of imagination and introduces a necessary breath into the rhythm of my work.  This is a kind of play that sometimes leads to surprising formal solutions, other than routinely repeated patterns. Collages are also often a good hint for new ideas that I use when painting oil paintings.
