Small formats on equally small birds are presented in this series.

On each of them I painted a more or less recognizable bird. However, I do not try to remember or give their names, nor do I paint details showing the subtle differences between species. Individual images can be given arbitrary, variable names that do not necessarily correspond to the author's intention or zoological correctness. I always invite people watching to take part in the fun.
